Look for the "Key Lime" sign. The unit is on the 2nd floor.

Street parking is free always and often plentiful, especially in the off-season - you can park right out front at the base of the steps

Do not park in or block the driveway directly next to the building

One complex parking lot pass is available if you want to park off-street. See map for location

​To Unlock:

Enter the access code provided prior to checkin into the keypad.

A blue check mark indicates success. Wait 2 seconds for the beeping sound to complete and then simply turn the knob to open the door.

A red "x" means there was an error and you need to try again.

To lock the door when leaving the home:

Press the lock icon on the bottom right of the keypad

LIVING ROOM

The mini-split air conditioning and heating units are brand new Fujitsu units and serviced by Eastern Air
-
All lights in the living room including the recessed ceiling lighting and lamps are operated by the labeled wall light switch immediately inside the front door. Additionally, there is a Hue dimmer switch with allows you to control the level of light attached magnetically to th inside of the door immediately to the right of the wall switches
-
Please enjoy board games and cards located in the TV cabinet.

The units take 5 minutes to start working after you turn it on from the off setting

All three units must be set to the same setting - either cool or heat

TROUBLESHOOTING​

Confirm all three are actually set to the same cooling setting​

Turn off all three units

Turn the units back on one at a time

Wait 5 minutes and re-check air by holding hand up to unit

TELEVISION​
There are two Roku-enabled TVs, one in the living room and master bedroom. They each have their own Roku remote (see details below).

The Roku TVs provide the following apps for streaming:

Xfinity for live cable TV

Netflix (Use the Starla profile)
-
Prime Video (Use the Wixhouse profile)

The Roku pin should not be required during normal operation of the TVs - this is only needed if making a purchase or adding apps.

An Xbox is available in the living room for gaming and for watching Blu-rays or DVDs.
-
Press and hold the large round button in the center of the Xbox remote to turn on both the Xbox remote and the Xbox itself.
- To watch a DVD or Blu-ray, insert the disc in the slot on the front of the Xbox and the movie app will automatically launch and take you to the movie menu.

Navigate the Xbox menu system with the left thumb joystick

Select highlighted item by pressing the "A" button.
-
Select "B" button to Cancel or Go Back
-
Please be sure to replace the Xbox controller into its stand at the end of the day so it will recharge.

KITCHEN
-
The Keurig K-Duo-Plus coffee maker is compatible with all K-Cup pods including v2.0. It also incorporates a traditional coffer maker that makes up to a 12 cup pot of coffee.

Fill the water reservoir on the left at least halfway full
-
Turn the power on with the power button on top right
-
Open front handle, insert a new coffee pod, then close.
-
If you don't do in this order, the machine will not start. If you have any problems, re-open the pod chamber and close again.
-
Select one of 3 buttons for different amounts of water. The smallest left button makes the strongest coffee.
-
-
The kitchen is stocked with K-Cups and basic pantry items. Try the J.O. crab seasoning, a Baltimore original!
-
Dining room table has two drop-leaves which extend to allow the two additional blue metal chairs in the living room and bunk room to be added to seat four.

Help yourself to the liquid libations in the pantry shelves and feel free to pay it forward by leaving bottles for future guests and us!

BATHROOM
-
The overhead unit is a light/fan/heater combination unit.​
-
The first double switch panel operates the main light and the nightlight
-
The center switch manually operates the fan. The fan will come on automatically when the humidity sensor detects moisture
-
The far timer switch turns on the heater for the number of minutes labeled on the button - 5, 10, 15, 20 or 30 minutes
-

MASTER BEDROOM
-
All lights including the overhead and the lamps are controlled by the round Hue dimmer switch covering the wall switch. Press the center to turn off/on and rotate the edge to dim.

The TV is powered by Roku and has the same apps and remote as the living room
-
There is a wireless phone charger on the nightstand and each lamp has a USB port for charging.

BUNK ROOM
-
The double bed is at floor level and the twin bed is overhead requiring a climb up a very sturdy ladder fixed to the frame.
-
The closet in this room is the owners closet and is not accessible to guests
-
The ceiling fan and light are controlled by a remote on the wall by the closet and is also operated by the wall switch next to it
-
Workstation with a 29" UW-FHD 1080p widescreen LG monitor that can accept HDMI and DisplayPort laptop or streaming stick connections (bring your own cable)
-
You will find a foldable pack-n-play crib either under the bottom bunk or in the master bedroom closet
-
You will find a foldable desk under the bottom bunk that you can use a work area and laptop station with the monitor

COMPLEX AMENITIES

Shared pool is next door, entrance in the alley, see the complex map

Pool code will be sent in check-in instructions

Laundry room with coin operated standard size washer and dryers is available at the end of the alley closest to Philadelphia

For issues with the change or laundry machines contact - ???

There is a 24-hour (peak-season) corner store, Mitchell's Market, on the corner of 4th and Philadelphia. They have all the kitchen and bathroom essentials and a decent selection of beer and wine.

The park across the street on 4th street is dog friendly and has poop bag dispensers
-
There is a fenced-in kids playground and basketball courts across the street on 4th street
-
There is a world-famous skate park on Saint Louis between 3rd and 4th street
-
Free fishing pier, no permit required, is one block away on the bay between 4th and 2nd streets

CHECKOUT

Check out is 11am unless prior arrangements are made

Feel free to leave any unused sealed drinks and condiments for future guests.

​There is a large round black garbage can across the street on the southwest corner of Saint Louis at 4th - you can see it from the porch looking towards the 50 bridge

From Memorial Day to Labor Day there is a trash can under the stairs but it is removed during the off-season

There is a complex dumpster on 5th street parking lot that you can access by making a left after the pool in the alley
-
Much to my disappointment OC has no recycling or composting program, so everything goes in the trash!
